About us

We are from Australia and have recently made the move to France. We are looking forward to welcoming guests from all over the world to our small studio apartment in Treignac.

Information

Treignac, built at the foot of the Monédières, in the Vézère gorges, is a medieval town with its 13th century bridge, its church and chapels, its grain hall, its 15th-century panoramic tower and half-timbered houses. It has been labeled as one of the Small Cities of Character for its architectural and natural heritage. It was a great recognition for the town’s unusual heritage. The twisted bell tower of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Chapel, situated in the centre of Treignac metres from the apartment, is an illustrious example.

Treignac is a popular stopover for pilgrims to Compostela on the Rocamadour Way, and is also famous for its waters which make it a recognised spot in the world of canoeing. We hope you enjoy your time staying at Treignac, rich in heritage and nature.

The apartment is right in the town square, and in the busy summer months, there can at times be some noise until late at night.
